Foreign Minister of Pakistan, Shah Mehmood Qureshi on 13th August 2019, sent a letter to the President of United Nations Security Council, Ms. Joanna Wronecka.
The letter refers the previous letters which where were sent by Foreign Ministry of Pakistan on August 2 and 6 respectively.
The letter discusses the current situation of Jammu and Kashmir and urges the dispute to be resolved by United Resolutions 47,51, 80 and 91. These resolutions state that the disposition of state of Jammu and Kashmir to be resolved by the will of people.
Moreover, the Pakistan explains the recent events that have took place in Kashmir including the killing of innocent Kashmiris. Modi Government plans to change the demography of the state. The letters throws light on Human rights violations that should condemned by United Nations.
In the end, Pakistan urges to call an urgent meeting on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir under agenda "India - Pakistan Question"
