Prime Minister Imran Khan wrote a letter to the Australian government on behalf of the people and government of Pakistan with a message of support and offers of assistance for bushfire recovery.
The bushfires have killed at least 27 people, destroyed more than 2,000 homes and burnt 10 million hectares (100,000 square kilometres) of land — an area larger than South Korea or Portugal. PM Imran Khan expresses his sorrows over the bushfires in a letter written to the PM Sccott Morrison. PM Imran Khan offered the support. He said that he is consistently making the world aware of the environmental challenges that it cannot be fought solely by any country. He also that he is sad over the loss and feel for the victims as the bushfire in Australia has caused a lot of damages and deaths.
