The suspended ten billion trees project is restored by the permission of PM Imran Khan. Due to the corona virus outbreak this project was suspended and now PM has granted the permission to continue the project.
PM Advisor on Climate Change Malik Muhammad Amin addressed a news breifing along with CEO National Disaster Risk Management Fund Retired Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmed Today in Islamabad. Malik Amin said that 65000 persons who were associated with ten billion tsunami tree project will continue their services for the project on emergency basis. He further added that due to Corona Virus outbreak Pakistan is facing climate change and economy crisis.
Retired Lieutenant General Nadeem Ahmed said that the amount of 9.5 billion rupees given by World Bank will be used for boosting economy and also for climate change projects.
